聯署聲明

1. We request an extension of the consultation period in respect of the consultation document on the racial discrimination legislation to five months in order to have an all-rounded consultation.

我們要求將《立法禁止種族歧視諮詢文件》的諮詢期延長至五個月，以達到更周全的諮詢。

2. The Home Affairs Bureau should organize more seminars on the Anti-Racial Discrimination Legislation as well as briefings on promoting two way communication to ensure genuine consultation.

民政事務局應就《立法禁止種族歧視諮詢文件》的諮詢，舉辦更多研討會，並舉辦簡介會，讓參加者可以充份發表意見，以達到真正的諮詢效果。

3. More resources (including translation services, interpretation fees, printing costs and venues and related facilities) should be made available to ethnic minority concern groups, local NGOs, grassroots communities and schools for the publicity of the racial discrimination legislation consultation.

政府應投放更多資源(包括︰翻譯服務、翻譯費用、印刷費、場地，及相關設施)給本地關注少數族裔團體、民間團體、基層群體及學校，以推廣《立法禁止種族歧視諮詢文件》的諮詢工作。

4. The Home Affairs Bureau has to treat and incorporate all the opinions made during the consultation period in a fair and sincere manner.

民政事務局應當以公平和誠懇的態度，處理和吸納對於《立法禁止種族歧視諮詢文件》的所有意見。

5. The Home Affairs Bureau should ensure that the Racial Discrimination Ordinance would be effectively enforced, especially within the government.

民政事務局應確保《禁止種族歧視條例》有效實施，尤其在政府內部，更要確實執行。
