On 28th March 2010, HKFS held a "Youth Rally to Kick out all Functional Constituencies". The rally started at the HKU campus, passed by the Liaison Office of the Cenrtal People's Government in the HKSAR and ended at the Government House. The rally demanded the abolishment of all functional constituencies.
On 25th March 2010, HKFS held a press conference and announced the details of the youth rally to kick out all functional constituencies.
On 19th and 20th March 2010, HKFS held the Annual Conference, 52nd session. Various committee reports were discussed and passed. Committee members of the new session were also elected.

2010年1月30日，學聯與街工於學聯會所舉辦「從基層運動看八十後討論會」。當日出席的講者包括蘇耀昌、林致良及陳巧文。出席者就近日「八十後」現象交換意見，並從基層運動的視點出發，探討現象背後的社會結構，以及其後續的可能性。
2010年1月1日，學聯參加由民主動力及泛民主派立法會議員發起的「還我普選」元旦大遊行，由中環遮打道行人專用區，遊行至西環中聯辦，爭取「廢除功能組別 還我2012雙普選」。
2009年12月27日，學聯出席由民間人權陣線舉辦的「民間團體說普選」街頭論壇，呼籲大專生及香港市民參加「還我普選」元旦大遊行，爭取2012雙普選，廢除功能組別。
